The 23rd Psalm is one of the most quoted Scriptures of the Bible. Many of us learned it as children and many can quote it from memory. Many believers start their day by reading it. It points their hearts in the right direction to start the day. It is powerful and very inclusive. David touched on many thinks that we need every day for our spiritual and physical wellbeing.
What you see attached above I cannot claim as an original from me, but I can say that it is an excellent way to view this Psalm. Each line has been equated with a word. Each word touches close to our need in the human existence of spiritual refreshing. There was no name attached to the words added to David’s words so no credit can be given. As you read this rendition of the 23rd Psalm, I challenge you to do as I did as I read this the first time: MEDITATE AND RELATE. Think about how God daily meets our needs. We belong to Him and we are the sheep of HIS PASTURE!
In the service of The Chief Shepherd,
