We know from the Bible that the prayers of the righteous are powerful (James 5:16) and that God will make it all right, if we trust Him and stay in His Word and in prayer.  Let's keep the following people in our prayers:

Standing in the Need of Prayer

Pray for those who prayer:

Sis. Mary Myles who asked for prayer for herself and for her grandson who is going through some stuggles.

Bro. Shead asks or prayer for friends in Christ and he also thanks the church for prayers as he recovers from a chemical burn

Sis. Garrett for traveling grace as she travels to Louisiana

Our congregation and leadership that we might continue to strive to follow God and mission He has for us, without addition or subtraction from His Word 

Battling and recovering from illness:

Praise God that Sis. Katie is out of the hospital! Please keep our beloved Hubbard Family in prayer for Sis. Katie's speedy recovery

Sis. Key who is recovering from surgery

Bro. Key is has started the process of joining the kidney donor list.  Please keep him lifted as he goes through this  process and if you are interested in learning more about being a kidney donor.

Sis. Patty Burns who is in the hospital

Sis. Shead who is struggling with back pain

Dorian Stevens, Sis. Sam's cousin, who is having surgery.  Please pray for her parents, Charles and Sondra Stevens, and her brother, Jaylen

Ms. Sartia, a friend of Sis. Sam, who is recovering from triple bypass surgery

For those who mourn

Bro. Ronnie lost a loved one and he and Raegan will traveling out of town to be with their family.  Keep them and their family lifted as they mourn and as they travel.

Sis. Key lost a family member.  Please keep her and her family in prayer.

Those Who Suffer and Struggle

Keep Sis. KaShanna and the family for who she asked prayer lifted.  Our kids who are struggling with serious life issue, such as gun violence, mental, emotional and physical health threats.  We need to TAKE TIME TO LISTEN to ALL of our kids and TEACH, and LOVE them as Christ loves us.

Pray for the children who overdosed on laced baked goods at Cragimont High and their familes.  Let's keep all our kids, teachers and schools in prayer during this turbulent time in our history.

Keep Bro. and Sis. Hurt, our golden members, who are battling injury and illness.  Especially pray for Bro. Hurt who is caregiver to his beloved wife.

Sis. Sharon Wilburn who is navigating illness life struggles

Sis. Stephanie Bowers who is battling some health issues

Tonja Bowers as she prepares to undergo a knee replacement

Charles Stevens as he battles some health concerns

Daphne Holmes as she continues to recover from surgery,  injury and stress

Sis. Elaine Pickens and Sis. Bernie Stevens for continued health

Nurse Clara Wymple (friend of Sis. Sam Holmes) who is dealing with life struggles. Pray for her family and her practice as well.

If you would like Bro. Key to pray for you, please fill out an index card on the communion table and  give it to him, or speak to him directly.

Also, pray for:

Those who suffered in 9/11 as we commemorate the 25th anniversary of this tragic historic event

Our young people, especially young Black men and women

All the young men/fathers who are struggling

Those who are incarcerated and on death row

Law enforcement who try to keep our city safe

Our service men and women who fight to protect our country and our freedoms

All those who asked for prayers 

All those who suffer in silence that they receive the peace, strength and resources

Our caregivers

All our youth. Let's set an example of how to live in this rough world through the power of Christ!

Our college kids, those in the military, away from home

Our sick and afflicted

All those who struggle

Those who grieve

Those who are traveling

Our President and governmental leaders

Our City and Nation

Those who don't know Christ that they may develop a relationship with Him
